Microalbuminuria in subclinical target organ damage and its correlation to creatinine clearance ratio in hypertension

چکیده

Background: Urinary albumin excretion has been purported to be strongly linked cardiovascular events in hypertensive patients. The prevalence of microalbuminuria patients with essential hypertension and its relationship target organ damage was evaluated the present study, as correlation except not deliberated upon much past. Objectives: To evaluate between reduced creatinine clearance subclinical asymptomatic nondiabetic Methodology: 120 cases were studied from January 2019 December 2020 Dr VRK Womens Medical College, Hyderabad. Cases for microalbuminuria, clearance, left ventricular hypertrophy retinopathy. Creatinine estimated by Cockcroft-Gault formula. Left determined ECG echocardiography. Retinal vascular changes direct ophthalmoscopy. Microalbuminuria detected 24 hours urine sample immunoturbidimetric, assay. Results: There significant association (30%) (38%) i.e. [p < 0.002 & p respectively] retinopathy 0.005 0.03 respectively]. Patients microalbumin had 30 times risk [95% CI: 3.6-253, 0.001] those 5.9 1.7-19.4, 0.0035] developing damage. But when together increased 39.4 2.2-703, 0.0124]. Conclusion: Results show that a reduction and/or presence is marker primary hypertension. showed better than clearance.

Prevalence of Microalbuminuria and its Correlation to Target Organ Damage

The aim of the study was to determine the prevalence and relation between urinary albumin excretion (UAE) and target organ damage (Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH), retinopathy and stroke) in patients with essential Hypertension. We evaluated 120 patients of essential hypertension (HT), prevalence of UAE, and its correlation to target organ damage (TOD) were determined. UAE was assessed accor...

Target Organ Damage in Hypertension

This special issue is related to the main concern in hyper-tensive disease: the target-organ damage. The selected papers approach some aspects of renal and cerebral disease associated to hypertension but the principal focus is on the arterial vessel as the main organ involved in hypertensive patients. Although hypertensive cardiopathy is not specifically included in this issue, the heart diseas...

Target Organ Damage in Essential Hypertension

Epidemiological data suggests that hypertension remains a major modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease in Western countries. The prevalence of the disease among adults in Slovenia aged 25–64 years is between 40–50% (CINDI, 2006). The early detection and severity of typical target organ damage and secondary diseases are key determinants of cardiovascular prognosis in patients sufferin...

Microalbuminuria is an early marker of target organ damage in essential hypertension.

Microalbuminuria has been associated with a cluster of metabolic and nonmetabolic risk factors, suggesting that it might indicate the presence of generalized microvascular damage in patients with essential hypertension. To explore whether microalbuminuria is associated with early target organ damage, two groups of essential hypertensive patients, with (n = 17) (HtAlb+) and without (n = 16) (HtA...
